Albert Adrià is a Spanish chef and pastry innovator born in L'Hospitalet in 1969 who revolutionized molecular gastronomy and modernist cuisine. As head pastry chef of elBulli for 23 years, he pioneered techniques including sphérification and modernist mousse that achieved international renown. Since 2016, he leads Enigma in Barcelona, a Michelin-starred restaurant, and co-founded the elBarri group encompassing multiple innovative dining concepts. He was recognized as The World's Best Pastry Chef in 2015 and served as a jury member for the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie 2023.
