USAGE POLICY

Article 1 — Purpose
This Usage Policy sets out the rules of use that the Customer undertakes to follow when using the ALaCarte.Direct Service. It supplements the General Terms.
Article 2 — Permitted Content
The Service is intended for presenting and marketing the Customer's restaurant offering. The Customer is responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of all content they publish: menus, descriptions, photos, prices, opening hours, practical information.
Article 3 — Prohibited Content
The Customer must not publish through the Service any content:
- that breaches public order or accepted moral standards
- that is defamatory, abusive, discriminatory or hate-inciting
- that infringes the privacy or image rights of third parties
- that constitutes an infringement of intellectual property rights
- containing false or misleading information, particularly regarding prices, dish composition or allergens
- constituting misleading advertising or an unfair commercial practice
- promoting illegal substances
Article 4 — Obligations Specific to the Restaurant Industry
The Customer must comply with the regulations specific to their business, in particular:
- display of prices inclusive of tax and of mandatory notices
- allergen information (EU Regulation No. 1169/2011)
- indication of the origin of meat where mandatory
- notices regarding freezing and homemade products
- obligations related to the sale of alcohol (prohibition for minors)
Article 5 — Sanctions
In the event of a breach of this policy, ALCD reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Service under the conditions set out in the General Terms, without prejudice to any damages.
